Autumn 2013 newsletter and price trends update
Heating oil price update
Having spiked at 60p + VAT in August and stayed pretty high through most of the autumn, I can report that prices have been dropping quite steadily over the last couple of weeks, but I think that it has now got to about the lowest it is going to go. If you are thinking of topping up before it gets really cold I think now is a good time.
As a guide, the price is just under 55p + VAT today in some areas but has already risen in others I’m afraid.
Getting organised for Christmas
Well, where has this year gone? It just seems to have flown past.
It has got to that time of year again when I need to remind you that ordering your oil in November will mean that you avoid the nasty price rise that often happens in December because of the rise in demand for deliveries.
Ordering in November also means that you will receive your delivery in the usual 5 – 6 working days. In December deliveries can take up to 2 weeks.
So to avoid the worry of not receiving your oil in time and save more money order very soon is my advice.
Lee is getting busy servicing boilers now so if it’s about time you’re boiler had its annual service please let me know and I’ll get Lee to book you in. You can get me on email@example.com and 01476 861884.
This new service is proving to be rather popular. Don’t forget that we have seasoned wood ready to deliver to your door.
Still achieving great savings
One new customer has saved £50 by ordering through My Consortium today and that was on just 500 litres. Watch out if you are thinking of ordering directly through a supplier, their prices will be higher than you need to pay.
Keep spreading the word
Thank you again for recommending My Consortium to your friends, colleagues, neighbours and family. They are always pleasantly surprised by the savings My Consortium makes for them, so please keep up the good work.

I’m getting to grips with social media (slowly!!) with a lot of help from my assistant, Shane.
It’s a bit early but if we don’t speak before Christmas, have a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
All the best
